Product and catalog management is where Storepass connects your ecommerce listings to Storepass product data, creates new listings from catalog data, and keeps listing details consistent over time.
Use these tools when you need to add products, fix disconnected listings, update finishes, repair missing images, or apply your product templates to a group of listings.
- Product Creation Settings: control how new products are named, tagged, imaged, and published.
- Storepass Catalog: searches supported product data and starts product creation tasks.
- Products: reviews existing store listings, connections, finishes, prices, and inventory.
- Bulk Standardize: updates existing listings so selected fields match your current creation settings.
Before starting
- Open Product Creation Settings.
- Select the product line you want to work with.
- Review the name, SKU, vendor, tag/category, description, status, image, and variant templates.
- Use the preview area to confirm the first matching catalog result renders the way you expect.
Create products
- From Product Creation Settings, click Create Products.
- Search or filter the Storepass Catalog for the products you want to add.
- Use Create Product for a single item, or Create Products for the filtered result set.
- Confirm the task when Storepass shows the number of products and finishes that will be created.
- Review the task in Product Creation Tasks or Task Monitoring.
New products are created from your product templates first. Retail prices are then handled by your retail price rules shortly after creation.
Fix existing products
- Open Products.
- Select the product line and filter down to the listings you want to repair.
- Use catalog connection actions for disconnected listings or finish problems.
- Use Bulk Standardize Products when listing fields should be rebuilt from Product Creation Settings.
Review
- Imported: the catalog item already has a connected store listing for that finish.
- Finish warning: the listing is connected but its selected finish does not match an expected catalog finish.
- Task status: queued, processing, succeeded, skipped, failed, or completed with errors.
