Use a how-to ticket when you need help understanding where a Storepass setting is, how a workflow should be used, or what steps to follow for a specific task.
Storepass answers how-to questions in tickets and, when the answer should be reusable, links or creates documentation so your team can find the answer again later.
- Ask how to use a specific Storepass feature.
- Include the page, product line, order, buylist submission, or setting you are looking at.
- Use documentation links from the response as the long-term reference.
Before starting
- Search the documentation for the feature or setting name.
- Check whether an existing guide already answers the question.
- Gather an example link or screenshot if the question depends on a specific product, customer, order, or setting.
Create a how-to ticket
- Go to Support Tickets.
- Click Add New.
- Set Type to How To.
- Describe what you are trying to do and where you are in Storepass.
- Add an example link when the question is tied to a specific page or item.
- Submit the ticket.
Review
When Storepass replies, follow the steps in the ticket and keep the documentation link for your team. If the guide does not match what you see, reply on the ticket with the difference.
