Buylist Pricing Rules determine the cash and credit offers Storepass calculates for each product line. Rules can be broad, such as a default percentage of retail price, or specific, such as a fixed price for low-value cards from selected sets.
Use pricing rules when you want Storepass to maintain buylist offers from your retail prices instead of editing every product manually.
- Default rule: applies when no other rule set matches.
- Rule sets: apply only when their criteria match a product.
- Percent based: calculates offers as a percent of retail price, with optional credit increase.
- Fixed price: sets exact cash and credit offers by condition.
Before starting
- Configure the product line in Buylist Settings.
- Confirm the product line has the conditions you want to price.
- Confirm retail prices are current enough to use as the basis for buylist offers.
Configure
- Open Buylist Pricing Rules.
- Select the product line at the top of the page.
- Click Default to edit the fallback rule.
- Choose Percent Based or Fixed Price.
- Enter the cash and credit values you want to use.
- Click Save Rule.
- Percent Based cash: the cash offer as a percent of your retail price.
- Percent Based credit: the credit offer as a percent more than the cash offer.
- Per-condition configuration: lets selected conditions override the default cash and credit percentages.
- Fixed Price: ignores the retail price and uses exact cash and credit amounts for each condition.
Add a rule set
- From the rule list, click Add Rule Set.
- Name the rule set.
- Add criteria for the products that should use this rule.
- Set the pricing behavior for products that match the criteria.
- Save the rule.
- Drag rule sets into priority order if needed.
- Price: compares the product's current retail price.
- Name: matches product names.
- Set Name: matches selected set names or vendor-style values, depending on product-line settings.
- Rarity: matches product rarity.
- Date Created: matches by how long ago the listing was created.
- Release Date: matches by release date.
- Stock: matches by inventory quantity.
Rule priority runs from bottom to top. If the bottom rule matches, Storepass uses it. If it does not match, Storepass checks the next rule up. The default rule is used only when no rule set applies.
Review
- Use the product preview table on the page to search products and inspect generated cash and credit offers.
- Use Recalculate Prices after changing a rule to refresh the preview.
- Use Copy Rules if another product line already has a rule structure you want to reuse.
After changing rules
- Open Products > All.
- Select the product line and any filters you want to update.
- Open Actions and choose Refresh Offer Prices.
- Monitor the task from Task Monitoring.
Saving a rule changes the stored rule. Refreshing offer prices applies those rules to the matching listings.
