Connecting a listing tells Storepass which catalog product and finish the store listing represents. A good connection powers automated pricing, buylist matching, finish tracking, and cleaner product management.
Use this workflow when a Shopify or BigCommerce listing exists but Storepass shows it as unconnected or connected to the wrong catalog data.
Before starting
- Open Products.
- Select the correct product line.
- Filter to unconnected listings or search for the product name/SKU.
- Confirm the listing title, image, SKU, and finish before connecting it.
Connect
- Open the product row or action menu for the listing.
- Use the available connection or matching action to choose the correct Storepass catalog product. Find it in the catalog and copy the ID that's in the url.
- Set the selected finish when the listing represents a specific finish.
- Save the connection.
Review
- Connected: the listing has Storepass catalog data attached.
- Selected finish: the listing or variant is assigned to a finish such as nonfoil, foil, normal, or another supported finish.
- Potential issue: Storepass highlights listings where the selected finish does not match the expected catalog finishes.
Do not connect a listing to the closest-looking product if the finish, language, product line, or set is wrong. A bad connection can produce bad prices and inventory behavior.
