Storepass product images come from catalog data and the image template in Product Creation Settings. You can use those images when creating products, fill missing images automatically, or standardize existing listings when better images become available.
Use this workflow when listings have no image, placeholder images, or outdated images.
Check the image template
- Open Product Creation Settings.
- Select the product line.
Review the Image template. Use this template for a higher resolution version of the image
{%images:${@.medium.replace('437x437','1000x1000')}%}
- Check the preview image for a product in the selected product line.
- Save changes if you update the template.
Handle new products
- Create products: Storepass uses the image rendered from the template when the product is created.
- Auto Update Missing Images: when enabled, Storepass can fill missing images later as catalog images become available.
Fix existing products
- Open Products.
- Select the product line and filter to the listings that need images.
- Choose Bulk Standardize Products.
- Select Insert Missing Image to add an image only when the product is missing one.
- Select Replace Images only when you intentionally want Storepass to replace or append based on the current image state.
- Preview the diff when available, then start the standardization task.
Use Replace Images carefully. Insert Missing Image is safer when you only want to fix blank or placeholder images.
