Bulk Standardize can repair common listing issues by rebuilding selected fields from Product Creation Settings. It is useful when products have missing images, inconsistent names, old tags, wrong product types, missing customs fields, or legacy Shopify variant option names.
Use the smallest field selection that fixes the issue you are targeting.
Choose the fix
- Missing image: select Insert Missing Image.
- Bad or outdated image: select Replace Images only when replacing existing images is intentional.
- Wrong title or SKU: select Name or SKU after checking Product Creation Settings.
- Wrong tags/categories or vendor/brand: select the matching field and confirm the templates first.
- Shopify customs data: select Country of Origin and HS Code.
- Shopify variant option label: select Variant Option Name after setting the product line option name.
Run a preview
- Open Products.
- Select the product line and filters.
- Open Bulk Standardize Products.
- Select only the fields you want to evaluate.
- Click Preview Diff if available.
- Review the before and after values.
Apply the fix
- Start the Bulk Standardize task.
- Open Bulk Standardize Tasks.
- Review succeeded, skipped, and failed work items.
- Spot-check the updated products in Shopify or BigCommerce.
Do not select every field by default. Standardize only the fields you are intentionally changing so unrelated listing data is left alone.
